ACE Commencement

No. Because ACE emails close six months after you complete your program, all commencement information is sent to the personal email address we have on file for you. 

Students who are financing their education must be current on all payments to their lenders. 

No, tickets will not be required for your guests. To ensure ample seating for each ceremony, we ask that each student bring no more than five (5) guests. For planning purposes, we ask that you include the number of guests you intend to bring to commencement on the commencement registration form. Guest names are not required. 

Paid parking is available onsite for $20. The entrance to the onsite parking lot can be found off Alabama Street. Street parking is also available via paid meters. 

We want to ensure our in-person commencement ceremony is accessible to all graduates. If you are attending commencement in person and you or your guests require ADA accommodations, please email [email protected] to let us know. 

The venue has 22 ADA parking spots on a first-come, first-served basis for $20. There is also a designated ADA seating area. 

KDP members should have received cords when they joined. If you still need to order KDP cords, you can do so here. 

Ed.D. graduates will only walk during the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony on July 26. Ed.D. graduates can attend the ceremonies on July 27 if they would like to, but only as a guest. 

Registration for both in-person and virtual ceremonies will close on April 30, 2024. 

Any eligible 2024 graduate can purchase an ACE Grad Box, including international students. You do not need to register for commencement to purchase a box. 

The $25 grad box features a commemorative ACE T-shirt, koozie, pen and lanyard, and is shipped free of charge. To inquire about the status of your grad box after ordering, please email [email protected] and be sure to include your order number.

Because regalia is optional for graduates celebrating virtually, ACE will not provide honors cords to virtual attendees. If you’d like to purchase honors cords, you are welcome to do so on the Jostens site. 

We will only be recognizing certain programs during certain ceremonies. Therefore, you will only be able to attend the ceremony date and time that you’ve been assigned. 

The cut off to change commencement attendance was April 30, 2024. We are no longer able to accommodate any further changes as video production has begun. 

Virtual graduates were offered a chance to submit a headshot within their registration form that would display during the virtual reading of names. Now that registration has closed, we are no longer accepting headshots. 

Yes. The livestream will start in real-time, but you can pause it if needed. After a 10-minute buffering phase, you can either resume from where you left off or start watching it live again. 

Ed.D. graduates should plan to watch the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony livestream on Friday, July 26 at 2 pm ET, as this ceremony is specifically tailored to doctoral graduates and differs from the other ceremonies. For graduates with ceremonies on Saturday, we recommend you watch the livestream that corresponds with your program but you can watch the other livestream if the time is more convenient for you.
